The author conducts an analysis in the context of consumption of lifetime to show the phenomenon of digitalisation and society’s consumption decisions. The process of digitalisation was particularly visible during the pandemic and the restrictions related to it, when education, work and interpersonal contacts were made possible with the use of devices connected to the Internet. These devices were also often used to make remote purchases. The implementation of the article made it possible to formulate research questions and conclusions that confirm the importance of considering decisions related to the consumption of lifetime in the period of ongoing digitalisation of society. Another interesting issue is the post-pandemic period, in which it is possible to observe whether consumption returns to the pre-pandemic state and previous purchasing behaviour. Currently, there is a noticeable tendency to return to the permanent consumption habits observed prior to the pandemic. The carbon footprint related variables used in the study include greenhouse gas emissions, renewable energy consumption, electricity consumption and trade openness; these were regressed against GDP per capita (a proxy for economic growth). The fully modified least square and panel dynamic least square were employed for the main analysis of the study. The findings revealed that greenhouse gas emissions and renewable energy consumption have significant negative effect on economic growth in Nigeria and Ghana; while electricity consumption and trade openness have insignificant positive and negative relationship with economic growth respectively. The study recommends among others that, the governments should initiate carbon pricing law which should be implemented through a tax policy specifically on the emissions from burning of biomass which consist of methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) from the combustion of biomass in forest areas and carbon dioxide gas from the combustion of organic soils. High taxes will scare and deter indiscriminate bush burning among others resulting in serious environmental pollution and degradations. This measure will help reduce adverse GHG emissions and positively impact economic growth. Changing cities need proper transport – contemporary trends play important role in the development of public transport in a requiring environment. In particular, the development of public transport means today phenomena such as IT systems, big data, alternative energy sources, autonomous mobility, transport effectiveness, sharing economy and personal mobility (micromobility). Author presents contemporary trends that affect cities mobility. The macroeconomic context was also taken into account – the COVID-19 pandemia, inflation, migration trends. Changes in the demand and supply of transport services have become one of the challenges for cities in the new, digital, post-pandemic perspective. The purpose of this article is to review current trends in public transport development and mobility changes. The article is an attempt to answer the questions: what is the impact of digitization and technology development on the development of public transport? How are contemporary social, economic and political problems and are they strongly changing public transport? Article is based at critical analysis of literature and selected case studies. The result of research work is the indication of the most important directions for the development of public transport and the related risks and opportunities. The conditioning (co-responsibility) is justified by the belief that higher accumulation of human capital will allow the beneficiaries to permanently lift out of poverty. The literature on the subject is ample, focused mostly on the cost effectiveness of CCTs and their impact on poverty rates and income inequalities. Usually ignored are the rules and norms – important from the institutional perspective – that affect the behavior of participants as well as non-participants and influence their attitudes towards work, childcare, social responsibility, etc. The aim of the paper is twofold. First, to identify rules and norms that matter for the effects and efficiency of CCTs. Second, to define the channels through which they impact the behavior of economic agents. The research hypothesis assumes that conditionality of transfers increases the efficiency of public social spending and can be applied broadly, in many contexts. To verify the hypothesis, an extensive meta-analyses of available studies was performed. The initial conclusions suggest that CCTs could be successfully used in developed countries as well as in poorer regions. The paper seeks to diagnose the barriers to developing well-defined housing strategies at the local level in Poland. Based on existing housing strategies of some Polish municipalities and the experience gained during work on a housing strategy for a medium-sized city in Poland, the following impediments were identified: a lack of robust demographic data,  insufficient housing inventories, and a need for skilled experts and guidance for structured strategies. Given the impending EU investments in housing, local strategies gain significance, particularly in crisis-affected cities. The forthcoming financial aid for social housing amplifies the necessity for well-crafted housing strategies in Poland. It points to correlations between the concept of uncertainty and work efficiency and time. This article aims to contribute to the understanding of the relationship between job insecurity and productivity by looking at two important research issues that have received relatively little empirical attention so far. An intra-individual model is presented here, combining job insecurity, understood as a more or less continuous and long-term stress factor, with work efficiency. It was pointed out that job insecurity changes over time, and employees achieve better professional results feeling confident in their future in the workplace. It presents the mechanisms underlying job insecurity and labour productivity. A thesis has been proposed according to which the relationship between job insecurity and self-assessment of work performance may be non-linear, or more precisely "U-shaped". According to this perspective, it has been suggested that job insecurity negatively affects work productivity by weakening occupational energy, the so-called vigor, enthusiasm for work. The article can be a starting point for further studies on the problem job insecurity.
