The aim of this article is to present the conclusions from an analysis of the reliability of integrated reporting in the light of the strategic-information paradigm of accounting. The study presents reliability as a qualitative attribute of the information presented in integrated reports expected by company stakeholders, as well as attempting to analyse its significance with regard to presenting financial and non-financial data. The article shows the reliability of the information in the light of international standards regulating integrated reporting, and indicates the need for enhancing and verifying it. The paper presents the author's approach to increasing the reliability of integrated reporting through including social responsibility management accounting in the implementation of a corporate social responsibility policy, which promotes the transparent communication of information on the current and future economic, environmental and social potential of the enterprise. The article presents an analysis of the role of the accounting system in meeting the information needs of the stakeholders of a socially responsible company through the use of integrated reports. To achieve the objectives of the article appropriate research methods were used; including, in particular, a critical analysis of the scientific literature, the method of analogy and the a priori method of reasoning. The article is axiomatic in terms of the use of the basic assumptions of accounting theory.
