Kariera zawodowa w hotelarstwie w opinii studentów -implikacje dla współpracy praktyki gospodarczej z systemem edukacji

Działalność w sektorze HoReCa, stanowiącym fundamentalne ogniwo gospodarki turystycznej, charakteryzuje się dużą pracochłonnością. Świadczenie usług na rynku hotelarskim i skuteczne rywalizowanie z innymi podmiotami wymaga nie tylko zapewnienia odpowiedniej liczby pracowników, ale przede wszystkim pracowników o odpowiednich kompetencjach zawodowych. Jeśli przedsiębiorcy chcą uczynić z kapitału ludzkiego źródło trwałej przewagi konkurencyjnej, powinni podejmować działania sprzyjające pozyskaniu wykwalifikowanych kadr i utrzymaniu stabilności załogi. Celem artykułu jest diagnoza postrzegania perspektyw kariery zawodowej w hotelarstwie przez studentów. Umożliwi ona sformułowanie rekomendacji dla sektora HoReCa w zakresie współpracy z instytucjami edukacyjnymi. Dzięki badaniom pierwotnym przeprowadzonym na grupie 335 słuchaczy studiów z zakresu turystyki w Poznaniu wykazano, że studenci, którzy zdobyli doświadczenie zawodowe w hotelarstwie, znacznie lepiej postrzegają atrakcyjność zatrudnienia i wykazują większe zainteresowanie ubieganiem się o pracę w obiektach turystycznego zakwaterowania niż ich koledzy, a także wyrażają bardziej przychylne opinie na temat finansowych i pozafinansowych warunków zatrudnienia w sektorze. Powinno to zachęcić podmioty rynku hotelarskiego do aktywnego angażowania się w proces kształcenia.
