The aim of this paper is to propose a method for identifying business networks in urban business tourism which would most closely correspond to the development and promotional determinants of urban business tourism products. The complex structure of these products is connected with the general nature of tourism, the business tourism sub-segment, and the derivative nature of business tourist demand. The findings suggest that the most appropriate method is the network pictures method, proposed by the Industrial Marketing and Purchasing Group. It makes it possible to examine the structure of a network as well as the positions, relations, connections and networking activities of its participants from the perspective of a city (or an urban business tourist product). It also gives an opportunity to understand the motives for the actions of network participants, which is important in the analysis of the knowledge-sharing diffusion within a network.
