The Competitiveness of the Polish Tax System in Comparison to those in selected EU Countries

This article attempts to answer the question whether the Polish taxation system inhibits development processes; and in particular whether it is a major barrier to the inflow of foreign direct investment into Poland. The analysis performed shows that the main problem in the Polish tax system is not the level of taxes but their complexity, which is caused by tax regulations which are unclear and difficult to apply.
