Analiza piśmiennictwa poświęconego szczupłemu zarządzaniu w latach 2009-2013: faza "nadmuchiwania" i podążanie w kierunku zwinności

Wdrażanie praktyk szczupłej produkcji (lean production) do coraz większej liczby przedsiębiorstw oraz korzyści, o charakterze operacyjnym i ekonomicznym, jakie dzięki temu one odnoszą, świadczą o ogromnym potencjale, jaki niesie ze sobą szczupłe zarządzanie (lean management). Przyjmując systematykę etapów rozwoju piśmiennictwa proponowaną przez Stone'a [2012], pięcioletni okres 2009-2013 nazwano okresem "nadmuchiwania", jako że ok. 50% wszystkich publikacji naukowych poświęconych szczupłemu zarządzaniu zostało opublikowanych właśnie w tym okresie. Przedmiotem artykułu są także koncepcje zwinnego wytwarzania (agile manufacturing), które postrzegane jest jako kolejny po szczupłym wytwarzaniu krok w rozwoju wiedzy w zakresie zarządzania operacjami. Właściwą ekspozycję w tekście zyskała także tematyka szczupłych i zwinnych łańcuchów dostaw.
