Dystans osobowościowy a aktywność ekonomiczna

Na podstawie teorii przyciągania podobieństw badam w pracy, czy różnice osobowościowe między mieszkańcami różnych państw mają wpływ na skalę aktywności ekonomicznej między krajami. W tym celu badam, czy zagregowane i niezagregowane różnice w osobowości przeciętnych mieszkańców dwóch krajów stanowią determinantę skali handlu, inwestycji portfelowych, fuzji i przejęć, oraz cross-listingu między nimi. Wyniki wskazują, że jedynie liczba operacji cross-listingu ma negatywny i statystycznie istotny związek z dystansem osobowościowym. W artykule przedyskutowano kilka możliwych powodów braku wsparcia (patrząc całościowo) dla przedstawionej hipotezy.
