Managing Supply Chain Agility of Hospital Pharmacies

The agility of modern traders is a key attribute which ensures fast and efficient adaptation to changes in the market. In this context the paper presents the results of studies indicating the impact of logistic processes and the significant impact on the functioning of pharmacies in public hospitals. An overview of the opportunities involved in the management of the agile supply chain is presented . This article presents a supply chain of pharmaceutical products utilizing, inter alia, available technologies, the organisational structure of the network and key competences. It must be assumed that these are the key factors in determining the level of agility in the supply chain of pharmacies in public hospitals.
