Współcześnie zwinność podmiotów gospodarczych stanowi kluczowy atrybut gwarantujący szybkie i skuteczne adaptowanie się do zmian rynkowych. W tym kontekście w opracowaniu przedstawiono wyniki badań, wskazujące wpływ i znacznie procesów logistycznych na funkcjonowanie aptek w szpitalach publicznych. Uzyskano pewien obraz możliwości udziału podmiotów aptecznych w zarządzaniu zwinnym łańcuchem dostaw w szpitalach publicznych. W artykule przedstawiono łańcuch dostaw produktów farmaceutycznych, wykorzystujący między innymi dostępne technologie informatyczne, sieciową strukturę organizacyjną oraz kluczowe kompetencje. Przyjęto jednocześnie, że są to istotne czynniki, determinujące poziom zwinności łańcucha dostaw do aptek funkcjonujących w szpitalach publicznych.
