Celem opracowania jest ustalenie, czy stopień powiązania działalności społecznie odpowiedzialnej (CSR) ze strategią przedsiębiorstwa ma wpływ na wartość dla jego właścicieli oraz pozostałych interesariuszy. Badanie przeprowadzono na podstawie krytycznego przeglądu literatury przedmiotu. Brak pozycji literaturowych odnoszących się jednocześnie do wszystkich zagadnień ujętych w celu opracowania skutkował przyjęciem sylogistycznego schematu wnioskowania. W rezultacie badań wyodrębniono trzy stopnie powiązania działalności społecznie odpowiedzialnej ze strategią (niestrategiczny CSR, strategiczny CSR, biznesowy CSR), ukazując ich odmienny wpływ na wartość dla właścicieli przedsiębiorstwa oraz pozostałych interesariuszy.
