Dynamique du mode d’occupation du logement des ménages au Togo : Une analyse fondée sur les données de pseudo-panel

Objectif : Analyser la dynamique du mode d’occupation du logement des ménages au Togo.
Conception/méthodologie/approche : Les estimations sont effectuées à partir d’un pseudo-panel construit sur la base des données QUIBB 2006, 2011 et 2015.
Résultats : Les variables du cycle de vie telles que l’âge, la taille du ménage et les ménages en couple augmentent la probabilité d’être propriétaire du logement. Les ménages dirigés par un homme et les ménages résident en milieu urbain sont plus susceptibles d’être propriétaires de leur logement. Les résultats permettent d’identifier un effet seuil du revenu sur l’accès à la propriété du logement. Les résultats obtenus sur les données de pseudo‑panel sont confortés par l’estimation en coupe transversale effectuée sur les données de l’EHCVM 2018–2019. Les recommandations de politiques économiques sont discutées.
