Research Paper in Economics and Finance is a peer-reviewed, subsidised open access journal in which the Poznań University of Economics and Business covers the journal's publishing costs. Authors do not have to pay any fees for open access publication. In addition, the model of the journal is that authors are not charged any fees for submitting manuscripts, reviewing and publishing papers.

Research Paper in Economics and Finance is a semi-annual journal - we publish articles in June and December.
Digital archiving and preservation
Research Papers in Economics and Finance (REF) ensures the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content through multiple digital archiving solutions. All articles are assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) and stored in the journal’s primary online platform hosted by Poznań University of Economics and Business Press. The journal’s content is archived in: National Library in Poland - ensuring compliance with national archiving standards and PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) – providing decentralized preservation through the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system. These measures guarantee that all articles remain permanently available, even in the event of system failures or other technical disruptions.
Repository Policy
Research Papers in Economics and Finance (REF) allows authors to deposit all versions of their work in institutional or subject repositories, as well as on personal websites, immediately upon publication, without embargo. Preprint (version submitted for peer review) – may be deposited at any time, with a clear indication that the manuscript has not yet undergone peer review. Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM) – the version accepted for publication after peer review may be deposited in repositories, provided that a citation to the final published version is included. Version of Record (VoR) – the final, publisher-formatted PDF as it appears on the REF website may be deposited in repositories immediately after publication, with full bibliographic details and a link to the journal’s website. All deposited versions must include a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) linking to the official publication on the REF website and must credit Poznań University of Economics and Business Press as the publisher. REF follows the green open access policy, in line with the Budapest Open Access Initiative, ensuring that published research remains freely accessible to the global scholarly community.
