Open access and copyright

Economics and Business Review (EBR) provides immediate open access to its content online.

To submit, process and publish an article in EBR authors are not required to pay any charge. Publishing costs are financed by the Owner: Poznań University of Economics and Business.

The use of the articles is governed by the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0) license as currently displayed on That is, the author(s) retains copyright, while the users are free to share (download, copy, redistribute), and adapt the content for commercial or non-commercial purposes, under the following conditions:

  1. they must attribute the contribution in the manner specified by the author of the original article (at least by simply citing) and indicate if changes were made,
  2. they must provide a link to the CC-BY 4.0 license,
  3. they are not allowed to apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

Authors who publish with EBR agree to the terms of the CC-BY 4.0 license.

The CC-BY 4.0 license does not apply to third-party materials that display a copyright notice to prohibit copying.

The author warrants that the article is original, written by stated author/s, has not been published before (nor has it been submitted for consideration elsewhere), contains no unlawful statements, does not infringe the rights of others, is subject to copyright that is vested exclusively in the author and free of any third party rights, and that any necessary written permissions to quote from other sources have been obtained by the author/s.



Economics and Business Review permits self-archiving of the published version together with the contents and editorial page of the journal’s issue.

EBR has electronic preservation of access to the content in The National Library of Poland repository. The journal is also archived in Portico.

individuals: 1 year – €25.00.
